hi guys! long time no post. throwing some things i've worked on recently and some for fun stuff as well just to keep things moving along. will hopefully have some character/digtal work up in here soon as well as some fan art-y things. ME? NEGLECT BLOGSPOT? no...

for now here was a fun commission i did of a hula girl/pig done in the style of an old travel poster. neon pink under painting. so much fun!

conbook wrap-around cover, with progress scans!

last october i was guest of honor at a neat little connecticut-based convention called furfright! they asked me to do the artwork for their convention booklet and this was the piece i made for it. i've finally gotten around to recording progress on pieces and with this one especially it just made sense. so here is the sketch, the 'under painting', the murky 'this is gonna be awful' middle piece, and the final piece. this is just under 11"x17" which, for me, is HUGE.

TESTING. so in the next few days i am updating the ever loving HECK out of this blog. mostly i forgot i even had it. i think its time to clean up the layout as well. the olive-y background makes all this brown paper look flesh tone...
